I did it it, too, I made a fabric christmas tree decoration using the pattern from Helen Rhiannon at All Sewn Up. Somehow I managed to not get all the fabric tree segments the same size, even though I used the same template to cut all of them out, but I was talking to people at the same time, so it was hard to focus, lol. Anyway it still worked out and I LOVE MY TREE! I love it so much I'm going to make more! Thank you Jeanie for turning us on to this fun xmas craft!

You can sense I am just a little exited about this trip. Very excited to finally have some new crafties to share and also excited about heading to Houston tomorrow. My first time trying the dollar tree glitter iron on and it worked really well. WE shall see how it holds up. The other tee is a holographic vinyl that I think came from HTVRONT. Not 100 percent sure on that. REd tee was a Gildan women's v neck I also found at Dollar Tree and the tiedye tee I scored thrifting a month or to ago. See some of you VERY SOON. Squeeeeeee!!!

It was the longest retreat we have ever had and we had such wonderful quality BFF time!

I taught my first class at Hip Stitch and had so much fun that I am looking forward to the next one this weekend!

Just focusing on keeping my brain distracted and busy and try not to dwell about things that are beyond my control.

TTMT #426 - jewells68 - April 27, 2022 - No More Mother Goose

in which I show a new Project Linus top pieced a few days ago using the last remaining bits of the big Mother Goose quilt donated many years ago that I took apart plus the new-to-me Wilmington "twinkle star" fabric I got in a bolt at ACR from the same line as the original quilt (only in a different colorway). It's now been turned into at least 3 Project Linus quilts. I can't find photos of the original quilt (though I know I took some) and I feel like maybe there was one earlier quilt made from it in 2015, but I can't seem to find that either. But I DID find photos of two quilts I made from chunks of this quilt back in 2016.

Making this top made me want to piece up up more tops from leftovers I've got sitting around, so while I should be quilting what's already pieced, I guess I'm just in a piecing mood right now. Stay crafty y'all!
